✦ Family

All ages. Some rules.

Magnetic World is open to everyone · and we want kids to come too. Here’s how it works.

All ages
Under 16 must be with an adult 18+
Free earplugs at every info booth
Family meet point at the main info booth

The age policy.

  • All ages welcome. No minimum age to enter the festival.
  • Under 16 must be accompanied by an adult 18 or older. One adult can chaperone up to three under-16s.
  • Licensed / 19+ areas require valid ID. Beer gardens, certain lounges. Minors stay in the all-ages zones.

Hearing protection.

Festival sound levels are loud · that's the experience for adults, but it can be painful or damaging for kids' ears (especially under 8). Free disposable earplugs are available at every info booth. For younger kids, we strongly recommend bringing kid-sized over-ear protection from home.

Family washrooms.

Family-accessible washrooms are spaced across the site, including a larger family change area near the main entrance. Stroller parking is available at the family check-in.

If you get separated.

Pick a meet point when you arrive. Tell your kid where it is.

  • Default meet point: the main info booth just inside the main entrance, clearly marked with festival flags.
  • Staff are radio-connected and can reunite families fast · flag any staff member in a high-vis vest.
  • For under-12s: we recommend writing the chaperone's phone number on a wristband (info booth has them on request) or on the back of their hand with a marker.

What's not on offer in 2026.

  • No formal kids' programming. No dedicated kids' stage, no children's activities. Magnetic World is a festival for everyone, not a kids' festival.
  • No childcare on site. Bring a co-parent or a friend if you need an off-duty hour.
  • If we add family-specific programming for future editions, it'll be announced clearly · not buried in a footer.

Honest expectations.

This is an EDM/hip-hop day and a rock day. The crowd is loud, the bass is heavy, and the days are long. We think kids 8+ with good ear protection can have a great time, especially in the afternoon. For little ones, plan for short visits.

A note to parents: you know your kid better than we do. If something feels off · too loud, too crowded, too late · there's no penalty for leaving early. We'll be here next year.
